UNCG PRIDE!, the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning and Straight Allied Student Association, celebrated National Coming Out Day yesterday, October 4, 2005. National Coming Out Day (NCOD) is a national project sponsored by the Human Rights Campaign. NCOD actually falls on October 11, which falls during UNCG's Fall Break this year. This year's theme for NCOD is "Talk about it." UNCG PRIDE! allowed people to talk about their coming out stories and express them and their thoughts and feelings on an open closet door at the University's "Fountain Plaza" from 11am in the morning to 6pm that evening.
