Equality NC to hold reception in Winston-Salem

Equality NC will hold a reception with openly gay Mayor Mike Nelson and openly lesbian Police Chief Carolyn Hutchision (both of Carrboro, NC) in Winston-Salem, NC, on Thursday, October 20, 2005, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The reception will take place at the offices of Dr. Jamie Koufman, who received much attention after appearing in a series concerning transgender issues in The Winston-Salem Journal earlier this year, at The Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center CompRehab Plaza.
