Log Cabin Republicans and the Liberty Education Forum are seeking a Staff Assistant for their Washington, D.C. office. Log Cabin Republicans is the nation's largest organization of Republicans who support fairness, freedom, and equality for gay and lesbian Americans. Liberty Education Forum is a non-partisan foundation that conducts education, research, and grassroots training on a variety of gay and lesbian issues. The ideal applicants will be detail-oriented, organized, and personable. They also should possess excellent writing skills. Responsibilities include answering phones, managing the day-to-day office operations, helping with special events and projects, and assisting staff with research and writing.
