I was checking out the website of Equality NC today and after seeing it just a few days ago with its all too familiar design (the one they've had for years), I was a bit surprised when the page opened up. EqualityNC got a new website design! And its a handsome one too. More professional, cleaner and I think the information is easier to find. The new site design also lets the gorup more easily highlight their action alerts, event announcements and news. Overall I really like it and I think you should check it out at www.EqualityNC.org. Oh... and while you're there, make an online donation; the work EqualityNC does for LGBT North Carolinians is important! Also check out their news item on the upcoming 2006 mid-term elections. While no statewide elections are going to be held, local elections will be VERY IMPORTANT in getting allies into the the General Assembly. For the past two legislative sessions North Carolina has been able to kill a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. We are the ONLY state in the South to not put an amendment through our legislature or to our people. We must keep it that way! Technorati Tags: , , , , , ,
