August 5, 2005 Scouting for All ACCEPTING APPLICANTS FOR SCOUTING FOR ALL – SOUTHERN REGIONAL DIRECTOR POSITION Scouting for All is announcing that Mark LaFontaine, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, will be resigning his position as the Southern Regional Director effective September 1, 2005. During his tenure, he has tirelessly advocated for the principles of Scouting For All’s mission of ending the openly discriminatory ban on gays, atheists and youth. “This position requires a lot of dedication and devotion and is highly regarded throughout the Southern Region of the United States. To say it is prestigious would be an understatement,” says LaFontaine. The Southern Region incorporates over 11 states and 2 territories. The Region has established many affiliates who are always eager to lend a helping hand in planning and promoting events. Mark has agreed to assist the next Regional Director so that the transition is as smooth as possible.
