website of EqualityNC some more LGBT events in and around NC are coming up pretty soon.
One of them is tonight actually. Equality North Carolina will hold a screening of "Remembering Our Rights", a film described on the EqualityNC site as A film... celebrating Roe v. Wade, Lawrence v. Texas and our sexual and reproductive freedom".
Tonight's film screening will be held at Broad Street Cafe, 1116 Broad Street, Durham, NC, at 7:00pm.
On February 4, 2006, there will be a reception with the EqualityNC Board of Directors. This event will be held 6:30-8:30pm in Wilmington at Costello's, 211 Princess Street. Tickets are available on the EqualityNC website and are $50 per person.
Equality NC will also hold an event to honor openly gay, former Mayor Mike Nelson on Sunday, February 12, 5:00-7:00 PM at the home of Jesse White, 38 Mount Bolus Road, in Chapel Hill. Again, tickets are available via the site and are $50 per person.
