Equality North Carolina

According to an website of EqualityNC some more LGBT events in and around NC are coming up pretty soon. One of them is tonight actually. Equality North Carolina will hold a screening of "Remembering Our Rights", a film described on the EqualityNC site as A film... celebrating Roe v. Wade, Lawrence v. Texas and our sexual and reproductive freedom". Tonight's film screening will be held at Broad Street Cafe, 1116 Broad Street, Durham, NC, at 7:00pm. On February 4, 2006, there will be a reception with the EqualityNC Board of Directors. This event will be held 6:30-8:30pm in Wilmington at Costello's, 211 Princess Street. Tickets are available on the EqualityNC website and are $50 per person. Equality NC will also hold an event to honor openly gay, former Mayor Mike Nelson on Sunday, February 12, 5:00-7:00 PM at the home of Jesse White, 38 Mount Bolus Road, in Chapel Hill. Again, tickets are available via the site and are $50 per person.
